A few weeks ago I was in Seattle and saw a few flags from a Best Western hotel lining up nicely with the Space Needle. I'm sure they were carefully positioned in this way by the hotel. They were politically correct in determining the heights of the flags, keeping the American flag at the top, followed by the Washington State flag (which does indeed have George Washington on it). The Washington State flag is the only green colored state flag.
Sighting the Washington State flag is pretty common since it is legally required to be displayed at schools, courts and government buildings. It is also displayed by other major buildings like hotels and shopping centers.
At the bottom we have the Best Western flag.

They legally have to display the flag?
That's right, take a read here. There are even rules about when it can be displayed (only 24 hours if it is appropriately illuminated), how it is raised, etc etc. It is also supposed to be shown 'especially' on certain special days which include Mother's Day but strangely not Father's Day. Bad luck dads.
That is for the US flag, but I assume it is similar for the Washington State flag.
